Madeira wine will be one of the main stars of the next edition of the famous Big Fortified Tasting (BFT) wine fair, which will take place next Thursday at the iconic Church House in Westminster, London. The internationally renowned event is a true meeting point for lovers and professionals of fortified wines.

This prominent presence of Madeira wine is the result of a collaboration between the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Crafts Institute (IVBAM) and six prestigious wine producing and exporting companies from the region: Justino’s Madeira Wines, Pereira D’Oliveira, Vinhos Barbeito, H.M. Borges, Henriques e Henriques and Madeira Wine Company. Together, these companies will have the opportunity to present to the visiting public a selection of exceptional wines, true treasures of Madeira, with the quality that characterizes this renowned drink.

BFT is one of the most important platforms for the promotion of fortified wines, bringing together the biggest names in the industry every year. In addition to Madeira Wine, other iconic wines will be present, such as Port Wine, Sherry, Banyuls and Moscatel de Setúbal. In the 2024 edition, BFT had 63 exhibitors from 11 wine regions and 403 wines, standing out as a world reference.

This event is an excellent opportunity for Madeira Wine to gain even more visibility in the international market, consolidating itself as one of the great names in fortified wines.
