“"Discovering Madeira's Vine and Wines” was the project that the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicrafts Institute (IVBAM) included in the celebrations of the tourist poster of the Wine Festival, which took place between August 31st and September 17th, in People's Square.

The action “Discovering the Madeira Vine and Wine” took place in an “iglo” tent, adjacent to the “Madeira Wine Lounge”, a place where it was possible to explore and disseminate knowledge, in an interactive and sensorial way, about the culture of Vine and Wine from Madeira. To this end, the underlying multimedia component, using projections, motion graphics animations, sensors and interactive screens, guided and informed the visitor about the entire winemaking process, from the land to the final product, the precious nectar, already bottled.

In this space there were also workshops focused on the active members of the RAM wine sector (young farmers; winegrowers and farmers; wine producers; wine stores; bartenders; chefs; hotel and restaurant professionals) and others for the general public.
